Buying the almost if not entirely new refurbs directly from Nintendo is your best chance of getting one at a "decent" price if you can't find a good deal elsewhere as they include Nintendo's standard warranty so if something breaks they'll fix it.

Comes loaded with a bunch of games and i don't really give a shit if i have the original i just want to play the games. do you guys think they will run out like last year? is pre ordering a good idea?

It's a question of whether you want THAT particular device.

It's pretty cool for sure, but if you just want to play the games get a Wii. You can literally pick one up for about $20 on ebay, they are easy as fuck to hack (there are tutorials everywhere, takes literally 5 mins) then you can play every NES, SNES, Gameboy, GBA and Sega game ever made (and GameCube games).

I have a laptop, and i did just that with nes games, but it wasn't the same. i'd like to play it with the original controllers on a tv. I know that's possible with a laptop but by the time i go through the hassle and whatever $, i may as well pay 70 bucks or whatever to get the closest thing to the original console as you can get.

If you just want something you can plug into your TV and play with the original controllers then yeah I'd say the SNES mini is probably the easiest way to do it. If you want one you should definitely preorder it now, even if you later decide you don't want it you can resell it for more than you paid for it.
