We all know this shit is coming to Steam in a year. In my eyes sony is just pissing money down the drain, barely 500k people will buy the Steam version. Makes more sense to do a simul-release.

Emulated version is near enough the same, except updated menu's, font's, and other features improved upon.

I played it on PS2, emulated it a few years back and bought this for PS4. Great game to be honest, this and 8 are my favorites in the series, no idea why people shut them down.

The world and the music are fantastic. And the battle system is amazing, don't believe those who hate it.

Treasure hunting, it is a bit like VIII tin that it is pretty easy to break in half early on if you know the tricks (Dustia Exploit, Stealing Gladius from the Wolf NM. Misting Birds for Burning Bow, stealing the Slasher Axe form Werewolves).

Getting licenses is pretty easy, so the real appeal is hunting down the good equips before you are supposed to get them so you can get to areas before you aren't supposed to yet and get even BETTER shit before you are supposed to.

Sony owns excutives times. They also forbade mainline Ff for Nintendo consoles.

From GameCube to up. N64 just didn have the hardware for what they wanted.

Sonys not afraid of Xbox because of its low support in Japan.
