expensive for what it is, bonus mode is useless, but netcode is good. Worth it for a current gen online ST.

Because neutral is pretty hard to learn and you can't give someone instructions how to do it. It's a long process.
Combos are alot easier, flashy and make you feel good. And a neutral based FG will always be compared to SF2.

That's also why SFV ruined neutral. Safe oki and babby combos can be learnt in a couple hours, becoming good at neutral takes a long long time.

Does it have the content of SSFIIT with good audio?
I saw Digital Foundry's video, revealing that the HD mode looked worse than the PS3 version, as it lacked moving clouds, boats etc.
It also seems like you can't just have 100% classic graphics since they force that modern UI onto you. Otherwise I'd consider it as a better alternative to virtual console if the price was halved

air blocking, air recovery, and custom combo abuse isn't depth. it's actually unga easy baby shit that makes the game about who can spam custom combos more and means you never have to truly suffer for your decisions, and jumping isn't a commitment. the only thing I can see is difficult to do are the variable combo crouch cancel infinites, but infinites are more suited to an anime fighter or marvel rather than something like SF so it's moot.

Air blocking and air recovery feel absolutely nothing like SF. Also that guy forgot to mention that in A3, fireball damage is inversely proportional to distance traveled for some fucking reason.

I personally love Alpha 2 and Alpha Counters/CCs but wish the game didn't have air blocking
