I don't diss eSports, as I know there is big money in it, but dedicating your life to Smash, when it's not even made to be competitive, seems like a waste of life to me desu. It doesn't have the same recognition other games do, and Nintendo seems focused on holding back the franchise from what it could be.
It's like you'll forever be stuck in mediocrity if you decide to be a ProSmasher. As far as eSports go, FGCers are a peg below assfaggots and SCers, and Smash is even further below that. I get it, love for the game, but I just see no future in it. Why would you not have a back up plan for life?
