Just beat Julius as both Sora and Riku using Kingdom Key/WttD, it's amazing how broken Barrrier is and shitty Guard is by comparison.
It took me about 10~15 tries as Sora and only 3 as Riku, though that's only because I kept getting rekt by his electric attacks like an idiot instead of guarding, but barrier makes a huge difference.
I don't know if it's just that the 3DS version is different but it really felt easier on PS4 by comparison, but then again I haven't played the 3DS version in a while. Really, the worst part of the fight is dealing with his attack where he jumps up to the skyscraper and pounces down on you, but then I realized you can pretty much evade that completely by flowmotioning to the higher ledges of the area to escape him (or actually trap him up there).
All in all pretty garbage boss 3/10 would only fuck on a good day, honestly.

I get that feeling too, it's always incredibly difficult starting a new game for me, the beginning of a game is always the biggest hurdle to pass, probably because the beginning of a game is usually always the slowest part. I only just recently started Disgaea 5 and Tales of Zestiria even though I bought them several months ago. And I just got Mega Man X8 7 days ago and still haven't touched it, neither have I touched SMT4 or ASG (which I got around release at that).
But yeah, like you said, once you actually force yourself to play through, you start to enjoy it and yourself a bit more.

I just sold my video card for more than I paid for it because of the mining craze. I'm waiting until 1070s get back in stock at MSRP to get one.
