What's the best way to play this now?

I hate all the new jobs and skills and the story shit they added to the current game, but private servers could go poof at any moment.

My favorite class (Dragon Knight) doesn't even have the cool dragon related skills anymore and everyone seems to have these hermit-like skills allowing them to travel maps super fast.

There's basically no other options for sidescrolling MMOS either, which is depressing.

that's because you haven't played them anon, newer jobs tend to be much cooler, some of the newer jobs require mechanics
