No way. It got immediate hate on release, mostly for how heavy it was on loading screens and the universal ammo.

The game has some dumbing down after the first one, but it's not nearly as drastic as people like to think.

it was dumbed down mechanically but i still enjoyed the story. don't play as a male though because his voice actor is terrible
