The Rift is only $400 for the summer, glorious touch controllers included.
>lighter than the Vive
>better controllers
>half the cost
>the can finally afford VR
feels good man
What is even worth playing on the Rift?
>>383808332
only tech demos i guess
>>383808332
EVE Valkyrie, Superhot, some neat tech demos, Project Cars, a few others.
>>383808510
My only thought would be some fps games and the VR videos on pornhub.
>an objectively inferior product with no games, backed by Cuckey "faGGot" Palmer getting a desperate price slash because they know VR is failing
lol no thanks, you guys have fun I guess
>>383808332
Robo Recall, Arizona Sunshine, Elite Dangerous, Raw Data.
My other recommendations I dont know if they work on the rift.
>>383808758
>objectively inferior
To what, exactly?
>>383808758
>>383808869
There's a software that allows all Vive games on Rift.
>>383808938
Vive.
>>383809183
You don't know what objective means.
>>383809384
And you're assuming Im the above poster
>>383809460
You just said Vive was objectively inferior.
>>383809504
And what do you assume he is saying it is objectively inferior to, if not the vive? OSVR?
>>383809789
I'm saying it is not objectively inferior to the Vive, and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that he actually knew of an objectively better VR headset.
>>383809949
well you're aiming on the level of people who go out of their way to correct people's grammar on 4chan, so good luck to you
>>383810270
That's not grammar, the meaning is actually different.
Retarded arguing of these two aside, should I get it?
I've been wanting VR for a while now, and this is really making me want to go for it
>being an early adopter of VR when there's fuck al to actually play
>not just waiting a year and not buying it anyway because VR is dead, or there's a price drop and stuff to actually play
>or as is more likely
>>383810691
If your PC is up to snuff, you got the money, you have a bit of space, you can do it.
Its definitely for enthusiasts still though, if you have to ask yourself 'should you get it', maybe you shouldn't.
I bought Vive day 1, reorganized my room for best room space. There is a lot of crazy good VR games, but still not to the point of where id recommend it to normal people. You have to want it.
>shilling a dead platform
>>383810785
>fuck all to actually play
See
>>383808653
>>383808869
>>383807512
>$400
>plus $800 for the PC able to use it
>>383811228
>he doesn't own a gaming PC
