No.
P5's dungeons are significantly better than P4's, except the space ship. Having almost every enemy be somewhat resistant to physical attacks made the dungeon an unnecessary slog. That's all it was - not difficult, but a slog.
Otherwise yes of course, P5 is much better in that department.

I didn't find it that hard. Then again, I was stocked up on SP-recovering items and the enemies being resistant to physical still didn't hinder me from utilizing it. It's just a little damage reduction.

No need to use SP items when you've got invigorate 3 accessories.
To the dungeons credit, the boss is different. But it's also incredibly easy. The enemy made 4 turns in total during that fight for me.

P5 is just not holding my attention the way P4 did, and I can't tell if It's the game or me. The localization text feeling like it was a cleaned-up machine translation in some places really doesn't help, though.

But there's no 'physical fags' in Persona. Your MC has 12 Personas available to use - unless you're an idiot and only have 12 physical personas (is there even that big of a variety of physical skills to not have overlap) you'll have Personas with other skills to get by. On top of that, you have all of your party members, who cover every skill type (Except light/dark).

It's because it made the same mistake (though this time it's on purpose) as P3 - nothing happens for a long time. In P3 it's just killing shadows until the twist 2/3's in. In P5, the dungeons are designed like standalone TV episodes, with things coming together in the end.
It doesn't have an interesting story that runs throughout like in P1, IS, EP and P4, so it doesn't draw you in.
The premise is also not as interesting as going through Tv's to solve murders.

I agree. Fuck the dungeon crawl. The combat's fine but they're so repetitive. Same shit over and over. And I like dungeon crawlers, but P4 is so repetitive somehow in comparison.

There's got to be a signicant conflict, I can understand that. I agree with the problem of repetitive gameplay. Also, the Personas are pretty cool to collect.

I think the best resolution is to change the combat from turn-based to active, maybe a hack-and-slash style with magic.

Yeah, the insta-kill moves fucked me up. Given, I'm 4 levels under for Shadow Mitsuo, but I would have won it if not for that retarded instant-kill ability. It's bad design, 100% to give a boss an instant kill move. Especially when it affects the whole party, iirc.
