I heard these games has some nice fan missions, any recommendations? I'm a storyfag so I prefer things with some argument or at least some common thread to keep playing and not just individual and "fun" missions.

I love the Thief games, love them a lot, even Thief Deadly Shadows, but Thief 2 is better than Thief 1.

just get Tfix and you are good to go. The patch comes with a few extra enhancements to graphics and ai, i would personally uncheck all of those but its up to you.

As for the game, it requires a very patient gamer and a sense of direction becuase the level design becomes almost labyrinthian at times. But do play the game however you want. Its an immersion sim and the game gives you a good variety of tools to complete your tasks, experiment and find your own personal playstyle.
