Thoughts on Shield Pulse? A lot more units can suddenly survive Reinhardt now with Aegis. Miracle is also a powerful option in conjugation with Quickened Pulse now, and even worse if stacked with a Killer Weapon. Minerva for example would have a 1 CD Miracle on turn 1 with Hauteclere, QP, and Shield Pulse.

Ive found that my M-Robin is MVP for auto grinding. He counters so much with his default tome and Triangle Adept, and Ive given him Renewal so he can ignore chip damage entirely. Sure sometimes the idiot AI suicides him into a Hector, but I've had multiple runs where Robin just wipes out an entire map on his own on autopilot.

Here's what I do to get my deathless streaks.

Only slightly. She comes off as a bit vain and overly concerned with her own appearance but isn't really crazy for anyone or overly attached to anything.

Though she also happens to be the daughter of this guy and he turned her sisters into mindless witches. She'd have probably been next if she didn't leave when she did. She's just sort of aimlessly wandering Zofia doing whatever she gets caught up into while she looks for some way to cure the whole witch thing. Not exactly, and I'd wager 80% of the Reins you'll see in Arena are running that exact setup, likely coupled with meme team buffs, or at least some Attack ones. Ursula kills more units, but only when properly buffed and controlled. Rein's a force of nature on Offense AND Defense, which very few units can say they are in this game.

Virion has a Brave Bow, so there are quite a few mages he can ORKO when his Atk is buffed. The downside is that his Res is garbage, so he gets fucked when he can't kill them right away. It's mostly a positioning game, where I have to get everything just right or lose a unit. And I occasionally have to calculate whether I can take a hit or not so I can safely bait out mages. I use a defensive setup on Sharena so she often acts as bait. Virion and Anna are glass cannons, and Alfonse is more of an all-rounder and a reliable counter vs guys like Hector. I've been considering putting Triangle Adept on him, but so far Death Blow has been useful.

Even so, getting deathless runs with this team is real bitch sometimes, and I literally have zero chance against horse emblem or other mage-heavy teams unless I get lucky with the AI being shit. There are often situations where I have to move forward and take out one unit in order to survive, but taking that unit only opens me up to another unit, so it's lose-lose. It's more about me wanting to use the starter units than actually being a good team. If Anna was a mage It'd be a lot better. Also I really want to get Hector so I can put Distant Counter on Sharena.

Also got no other mage apart from Raigh and Sophia, I literally played for months with glass cannon melee units only, desperately rolling for mages. One day I finally got a 5 star Lilina - she was -atk. So I went full edge, made cavalry meme and raised a Blarblade+ moonbow life and death 3 desperation 3 ursula. Totally worth it.

Today I got my first Nino while fishing for Sonya, she's -spd+def. But I don't care, I don't need her anymore.

How much longer are they giving out daily orbs?

I've played Heroes since the release and I'm finally losing steam. I check in to get the log in rewards but thats it, while sitting at almost 200 orbs. I have a pretty solid team with good skills but I have no motivation to either train or get new characters. Doing PvP or tempests is completely out of the question and I cant muster the energy to do the special challenges that are just easy bonus orbs. I guess I'll just wait until new story chapters come out or something.

Well, at least now you know why you're not killing anything. Her base Atk is shaky enough as is, -Atk pretty much puts her in "must be buffed to kill" territory, especially if you put Lightning Breath on her.
+Spd is actually surprisingly useful on her though, especially if you have someone with Hone Spd handy, and I can think of many times that I wished my Fae was +Spd instead of +Def.
All in all though, that's not a really great Fae, at least for Arena purposes. You can work around her bane somewhat with Fury and Atk+1 seals, but she won't be hitting nukes by any means.

Merging is +1 to two stats, and the cake might be better off with a TA+-Raven setup than being yet another -Blade mage, though Cancel Affinity makes the former setup a lot iffier in theory, it remains to be seem how it'll actually be used. Personally, I'm betting on niche use at best considering TA isn't the most common skill in the first place, and even fewer units seriously use Gem weapons. Anyways, if I had to choose, I'd feed Cecilia her tome.

More or less, but for Infantry you especially want an incest twin acting as a buffbot, as they're the best you can get right now. Atk/Spd are definitely the most important stats to focus on though, so if you don't have Eirika or Ephraim, just try stacking those Hones on your team.

Running TA on Cecilia is such a waste. Doubly so on a Cav team.

Kagerou constantly gets underestimated in TT. She's not the worlds greatest unit, but I used to run her with Reinhardt and recently I've been running her with B!Cordelia, there's many times she'll get a kill the other one wouldn't have been able to, she's really damn useful.

Even against things like flyers and horses, it's not like she does no damage just because she doesn't have the effective bonus, it's often more than enough to finish someone off.

Reinhardt has a completely different role to Robin though.

Take for example the curious case of a 40 Resistance Distant Defense Mist. Reinhardt will get squished by that, Robin can actually kill her.

Alternatively, anytime you've got the enemies not moving and Reinhardt attacking would leave him in range to get squished the next turn, rather than having to tank a hit, just move Robin infront of any Red, or Colourless and it's problem solved, even if he doesn't return kill them.

There's a really good Niles build that makes use of assassins bow, so that'd be even better. Basically build him as a magical wall, an entirely Enemy Phase unit.

+Res boon, with Glacies, QP and I guess if you can get it, Heavy Blade. Using Slaying Bow you'd be constantly getting Glacies procs off. Ends up being something like 25 damage, just from the proc, it's not bad.

I did do them...at that time i just made a special team for the mountain map with two heroes on one side and two on the other...theres no way i can do that map without surrendering and making a team just for that one map which is basically right in the fucking middle
