Don't do it anon. DS2 is really pretty lousy and not worth the time investment. Skip it and go to 3, or play bloodborne if you haven't yet

No. There are almost no references to 2 on DS3

I played Dark Souls in this order
Demons>Dark>Dark3>Dark2

And I regret it. It's nothing like Dark Souls 1 and nothing like Dark Souls 3. It's almost a completely different game entirely. And don't even mention SotFS

Nah just had a really long gap of 'not playing a lot of video games' between Souls1 and Souls3. And someone bought me Souls3 so I pretty much forced to play it
