It's a bit different, the game is split into two styles across the story. First half has you collect tumors and other items to assemble a friend. Infinite lives and more exploratory. Second half starts when you go into the future after assembling the friend and then becomes more of a linear difficult precision platformer that has no collectables all the while using the number of tumors collected in the first half as lives. I'm liking the second half much more though.

It's fun. Bought it on a whim right before it released. Excellent level design, each screen more or less changes things up a bit.

Out of the 150 or so levels I have played so far, all of them were challenging yet fair. Difficulty curve is perfect. The only extremely difficult levels so far have been secrets and bonuses (and there's a lot of them).

Is it Binding of Isaac tier? Nah, but I enjoy it a lot more than I did Super Meat Boy.
