I agree, playing on a stick kicks ass. I bound my stick to be able to play fucking MAPLESTORY. Game is shit, but the stick makes it fun.

Also, Tekken 7 sucks ass. Only fighting game where you just beat on someone and ass wreck them for 90% of the match but then LOL THEY HAVE RAGE ART, BETTER BACK OFF.

Rage arts and drives both suck ass. They're only marginally better than Revolution's invincible moves which were completely game breaking.

The only good part of rage drives is when a scrub Akuma throws it out and you just jump back and block the whole thing. He gets pissed as fuck.

i don't think this has mattered since early PS2
incidentally that was also about the cutoff point for people to claim they were used to it from spending their childhood in arcades
past that it is nothing more than gamer gear. for most people the single biggest reason to use a stick was to fit in. people used to call out and make fun of anyone using a pad and that made people buy sticks. but once pad users started getting top 8, that shut the naysayers up and now you see a lot more people using pads. now it's the 0-2 stick scrubs' turn to get called out for spending money on hardware when they should have spent it on coaching
