You think half the people playing the remaster were old enough to play the originals? Crash 1 was hard for its time and rest were always at the least challenging, people expected it to be easier since its a platformer when it turns out people as usual are for the most part bad at video games.

Maybe because I had tons of experience with DKC already and many Crash levels felt very similar to DKC.
