Idk OP I really liked it. He is very style over substance. It didn't come off as reddit tier randumb to me more like Lynch weirdness even if Gnocchi Soda isn't in the same league. It was much better than Lollipop Chainsaw in terms of combat, even if the game becomes impossible to lose after you learn the blood heal move.

Instead of falling for the cult of personality marketing, maybe you should actually look at the game's credits. Goddamn you're retarded.

I thought the game was alright. Combat was okay, but nothing special, story was okay, but felt all over the place because of the episodic style. I liked Mondo, and the art style was cool. It was $4 and I got my enjoyment out of it, but I couldn't see myself spending anymore than that. Does anyone understand the story? Now that I think about it, that ending was pretty, crazy.

But the game is okay. Well, except for gigolo - it was funny joke once, but why do we need repeat it more than one time is unincomprehensible.

I do not think anybody expected something more refined, maybe only hardcore suda51 fans. Every part of the game was obvious from trailer. Sword is too light and dodging doesn't feel that good, but that's all I have to complain.

Also, if you were expecting much from relatively low-budget niche game, you are clueless to game developing odds.

If you're not in love with Suda51, Killer is Dead isn't for you, period. His games are and will always be quirky, interesting, but disappointingly unpolished.

To be a fan of Suda51, you have to be willing to accept that the actual gameplay in his games is usually the least interesting thing they have to offer, just like a fan of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night has to accept that the game is gonna become insultingly easy once you're about a quarter of the way in.
