What? Why would you single out that game, out of everything they made? I like Resistance but Ratchet & Clank would be a better thing to identify them with, especially for this story.

They're even making Spiderman, use that. Even Sunset Overdrive would be a better choice, since at least that franchise isn't confirmed dead.

no ofc spyro wouldnt be done by insomniac afaik insomniac want nothing to do with spyro nowadays, considering vicarious visions were the devs of skylanders it makes perfect sense for them to take a years break or so then get cracking on a spyro remaster

I don't even want the original trilogy to be remastered, I want Enter the Dragonfly to be finished(meaning 25 levels) and remastered/re-released/whatever. Of course, the chances of that happening pretty much don't exist but I do think it would cool. Enter the Dragonfly wasn't even that bad for an unfinished product, the potential was there.

There are 3 ways to redo Spyro:

just remake the graphics. This would be fine as long as they're close to the PS1 artstyle kind of like Enter the Dragonfly attemped. I won't accept the tumblr tier faggotry Spyro: A Faggot's Tail pulled.

remake the graphics and slightly tweak the gameplay, like harder bosses in Spyro 1.

>high effort
remake the graphics, tweak the gameplay to add Spyro 2-3 stuff in 1 (just harder bosses and swimmable waters, not all those minigames) and add all the cut content Insomniac couldn't put into the games (Aquifiers Realm, Dino Mines boss, etc).
