What the fuck happened here? From the spider tunnel onwards the game became garbage. Enemies started taking a million hits to kill (even with the strongest weapons), the bosses and fights became complete trash (that fucking spider boss and orc fight were infuriating), and the tomb full of non stop respawning zombies was honestly one of the worst videogame sections I've ever experienced with how frustrating it was to find everything whilst also getting poison fog in my face every 2 seconds.

I was doing a warrior build, and I can't imagine what it would be like for someone who speced in arrows and stealth and shit. Hell, if I didn't have that magic invulnerability shield, those nosferatu looking fucks that somehow take like 14 full power strikes to kill might have made me drop the game.

You just have to literally git gud. I've beaten the game with staves and bows.
The one great spell you can use is Charm.
