All he did was throw them in the TV. If a bunch of kids can run around with no trouble surely an adult can find a way out? Survival of the fittest.

He murdered people for petty reasons. He didn't really have any cause except being bored and frustrated with his life. I liked him as a villain, because it's very human to lash out when you think you can get away with it, and to be bitter and jaded with your place in things, but nothing about him was justified or noble even a little.
