Also DaS2 bosses are shit, people tend to simplify it to "it's just humanoids with big swords" but their shittiness doesn't stop there, it's not just about their type and aesthetic.
FYI only about a third of BB's bosses are beasts. It's actually pretty well balanced between all factions (Beasts/Hunters/Ayylmaos/Misc.)

Bloodborne's Chalice Dungeons are garbage and that's where all the actual bosses went after they realized they couldn't finish the game on time. Headless Bloodstarved beast is one of the hardest bosses in the game. The Queen who comes right after was piss easy in comparison.

There are two types of DaS2 bosses. Big Armored Knight with literally the same moveset copy pasted from the other big armored knight guy bosses, and bullshit bosses that have a bunch of regular mobs scattered around the arena for artificial difficulty. It's not just the aesthetic designs. When playing DaS2 I felt like 80% of the bosses had the same fucking moveset so it got stale, if the B-Team actually gave them unique attacks instead of overhead swing, 3 hit combo, and a spin attack/shield bash it would be a lot more interesting (take Looking Glass Knight for example of a good design).

Sure, but you also have a lot of hunters and humanoid bosses as well. Plus the large beasts don't all fight the same and have different moves and designs to make them feel fresh and not lazily copy pasted like DaS2.
