Well looks like my N3DS XL has kicked the bucket. At random points, the system shuts off entirely without warning, or the battery light flashes red despite being on full charge and then dies out with a POP sound. Luckily my Save data is backed up but there's no way I can afford a new one, and the warranty is expired....

What do?

You're fucked. Mine did that too when I bought it around release but I just returned it for a new one. Best you can do is save up for a 2ds which is pretty cheap.
