It's the nature of competitive online games. There will always be a meta, and metas are anti-fun. Overwatch on release was fantastic, and then comp shat all over it. Sad that every game now has to be serious e-sports mode, what's wrong with just having a game be a game?

Blizzard balancing. It's perfectly in line with how they repeatedly broke SC2 by tweaking the units.
