No, his ballistic sheath shot his sword out and cut his arm off. He didn't use his own strength to do it. Sam was being punched in the human flesh face multiple times and not actually being that hurt. Armstrong's arm is normal flesh when not hardened, so why would you need extra strength to cut off a human arm?

Sam is faster than a bullet for sure, because swinging swords and arms fast enough to block automatic fire from multiple angles is a regular feat for these guys.

Not to mention you need a highly specialized sword that is seperating material at the atomic level to do damage. These guys could honestly eat her bullets and no sell that shit, especially Armstrong.

But his armor doesn't make him undefeatable at all. It has a ton of limitations, based on his own perception. He isn't just always hardened all the time. He only hardens portions of his body that don't move, and only for a short period. He is still vulnerable at all of the sections that aren't hardened at any given time. A GUN with infinite ammo can shoot every part of his body and kill him instantly.

That is, if he can even start up his nanomachine powers, which he needs to charge up for 2 minutes before he can even use. Raiden and Sam just let him do this, but the Boss wouldn't. She would kill him before he could even power up.
