The atmosphere seems solid, though I'm not overly impressed with the character models, and I like the idea of trying to stay true to the medical oath while living the reality of being a bloodsucking monster. The combat seems clunky and like a grudging addition. Depending on how much you know about the WoD setting, the werewolf you run into in Bloodlines is a rarity. They are generally outcast modern-druids who live in packs and have combat forms. I'm struggling to see how they are making a compelling game out of it, as you can only take a rural setting so far, but I guess it might be fun.

Yeah, I was one of the guys posting the hilarious We Eat Ass screens, so I'm aware of the weird metaplot direction they are going, but to be fair the metaplot has always been a wink-nudge 'dark reflection' of pop culture and social commentary. Mage does slightly better, as it does show the negative side. The refugee mages are pretty much barbarian/druid tier, and there is a scene where the PC remembers being molested by a refugee and taunted that if she tells anyone they will label her racist. It's the one where doorknobs and other objects within the skyeline building are replaced by other objects. A knob can be replaced by a chair clipping through a door, or sometimes floating werewolf heads (no I'm not kidding). It seems to be the most common texture bug in this game, although it still doesn't happen to everyone. I think it has something to do with how long you've been playing a single session, if you quit the game and restart often this bug might never happen.
