There's literally no way this game can go wrong, but I feel that it might get underwhelming scores because of that. The Classic Sonic formula is solid and it looks even more polished this time around, but i doubt there's going to be anything about this game that surprises or wows us beyond "ha... thats pretty cool"

When the classic Sonic games came out in the 1990s their review scores were boosted by just how far they pushed the systems technology for shit like backgrounds and the speed of the gameplay. Now we've had full access to those games for over 20 years, idk if this game can survive on nostalgia alone.
