Not sure if you're trying to start a VC thread but the 2 main characters of Disgaea 2 do everything but raise a kid since not that much time has passed.
Every game they show up they do cute mushy shit, in Disgaea 5 they have a unique team attack and they have abilities that raise their stats if the two of them are on the field together.

The anime was surprisingly good, and the game was surprisingly empty on the story front (watched the anime before playing the game)

Maybe not everything was great, like the romance triangle, but for example, Isara's death had waaay more to it in the anime. In the game the whole event was over pretty quickly. Not a lot of emotional stuff in the game.
