a 2017 game on a brand new console lets you create a single static platform, and only with a rune that has that as its sole job instead of being a property of something interactive like "all elemental cold"

Give me one good reason why ALL cold weapons, arrows, enemies, etc shouldn't be able to freeze water, waterfalls, rain, etc dynamically in BotW? Only reason is because developers are lazy and cut corners
