Half-Genie Hero is a mediocre as hell game so I'm perfectly okay not buying it on either Steam or my Switch

OP here, it's neat, certainly not worth buying the switch version if you already have it somewhere else. But I'd say because of it, it edges out the other versions very slightly.

I've never played a Shantae game before and wanted another game for my switch so I decided to give it a go.
