It was an interesting choice to have him play SotC in the movie though, makes sense that a guy that lost his family on 9/11 would be fixated on a game about things falling and trying to save a loved one

Ico is better but it's not about epic beasts and epic epic flying around and whatnot so its great puzzles/atmosphere will likely be lost on you

It's a very different type of game, you probably wont like it very much going from SotC. TLG is a lot more like ICO, more focused on environmental puzzle solving, with the action being frantic struggles against several foes rather than battles. In Ico you're just desperately swinging trying to keep enemies away from Yorda. In TLG Trico does most of the work but you can help out by distracting enemies, jumping on them. They're both very easy and short games too.

All the games have flaws but they're masterpieces in my opinion. You should try Ico at the very least. If you play vidya with your GF then download a save with a cleared game, you can have a second player control Yorda on your second playthrough

truth is there really aren't very many games like them. I can't think of one, to be honest. it's a unique experience.
