whats the update
>>383532819
Bugfixes. That's it
>>383532813
its fucking nothing
Yeah, this Alfred guy has basically been tasked with keeping all the old Valve titles updated and such.
But the thing is, he doesn't really understand what he's doing. I remember when he patched it so you couldn't use the low-poly original HL1 models and it forced the "HD" Gearbox models and that upset a lot of people.
Thankfully, he's willing to listen to people to change stuff back.

Literally nothing wrong with that
>no misaligned textures
>barney doesn't look like he's about to die
>and also the glitch with his teeth is gone in the HD model
>>383533109
so that's why I could never use the original guns? Can you choose now?
>>383533109
Actually I thought the HD models were pretty good for the HECU Marines. Everything else was meh at best.
>tfw Adrian Sheperd was the only good thing Gearbox has ever done

>bugfixing a game 20 years after release
I wanted to applaud them for dedication, but if they're so dedicated then why didn't they fix all the bugs by now?
>>383533240
But you could choose to use that stuff, he just made an update that forced it.
When I play HL1 I wanna see the original Valve models, not Gearbox stuff.

I'm just saying, errors in the models (the Einstein scientist also has a weird mouth) make me not want to use Valve's models.
>update a 20 year old game
>still forces you to open the console to fix the fov in widescreem

If it's a command then you can do it in the shortcut
+fov 110
+default_fov 110
or whatever it was
