Why the fuck do people even like Animal Crossing? You can hardly call it a game, you just perform menial tasks to pay off debt. It's not like there's a compelling story or cast of characters either. I could understand children playing it because their parents bought them the game so that it would keep them occupied for long periods of time, but I can't imagine grown adults playing this game.

The only people I know that actually play simulator games for longer than a couple of hours are genuine autists and even those games have far more depth than Animal Crossing.
