Whenever I return to my castle from a long adventure in suikoden 2 I always go to the tavern and pretend to wind down for a bit with the bros. I talk to everyone even though they usually say the same thing

In Ocarina of Time, in the scene where Link first leaves the Kokiri Woods and he meets a morose Saria on the bridge on his way out, where she gives him the first Ocarina, I always made Link walk away slowly and, like, stop and look back and shit. EVERY TIME. Even when I was a kid.

I also set really autistic personal parameters in strategy games to keep myself from blobbing by trying to stay within historical possibilities at all times.

I never use consumables or weapons with limited ammo, i have this feeling that there will be a part in the game where i will really need them, for example bosses, but when i find a situation where the consumables can be really handy i still don't use them, because not having them in my inventory makes me feel vulnerable.

I had this problem with RPGs but I've started to break out of it in recent years. I had a really bad problem with this in fire emblem also I would hoard effective/reaver weapons or higher tier weapons like silver. Ended up using iron weapons for a huge chunk of my first FE7 playthrough hardly using my stronger weapons. I got out of the habit after doing Hector Hard mode and playing through FE7x because the game forced me to, you couldn't get by just using iron weapons for most of the game.

Last time I played Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, I tried to rationalize each Galaxy and try to piece together what each galaxy's purpose was for alien life who built all the machinery and junk in the level design. All for the sake of my own headcanon.
It was actually pretty fun to think about.

Whenever I play a SNES rpg or earlier, I imagine the characters voices as the text scrolls. I give every character a voice that I feel is appropriate for them, and I'm good at remembering it and assosiation it with them for a long time. However, every now and then, against my wish, a voice gets stuck in my head for a particular character which I don't like. No matter how hard I try I cannot 'unhear' that voice for them, even though I don't think it suits them. This drives me mad and often single handedly makes me dislike the character

When im playing fallout i always carry at least one weapon for every ammo type even though i know ill never use fucking .22 rounds so usually 3/4 of my weight is full of guns and i have to eat my food to barely stay at the weight cap

I have a fetish for hoarding useless items.
In games with item caps I like to farm gold until I have the max amount of every item.
I will also never sell an item unless I have at least one other copy of it to keep, even if it's junk. For all my Oblivion playthroughs all the chests in my house were overflowing with dozens of mediocre enchanted items I found in caves.

In vidya where you can be either good or bad I always play good but then go on bad rampages after saving and after an hour or so of fucking around and murdering, robbing, and generally being a public nuisance I'll revert to my save.

I like to play tennis with a teammate CPU Ganondorf in melee by doing up B to an opponent back and forth with him. His ai is very good at catching them and doing it back at you.

this stems back to when I was a kid and I used to be bought vidya and I would read the manual while out having some food or on the way home.

I use consumables and limited/rare ammo as little as possible and only when absolutely necessary.

Combine those two and I end games with retarded amounts of excess ammo, money, healing items, whatever resources.

I tend to read out loudly responses in RPGs with silent protagonist. I also get mad when characters in game treat seriously responses that sound at least ironic. Still mad over Persona 4 in that matter.

When I went to the strip club in GTA IV, and got a lap dance, I would always masturbate in real life to the game. It was a way of getting really immersed in the experience.
