This literally always happened when looking for age of empires 2

I'm almost tempted to torrent it and see if it's true

Im not talking about torrents, it was when direct downloads were popular. Most torrents and torrent clients were full of viruses back then so people used to go to sites with direct downloads, shit like rapidshare or megaupload.
Some retarded uploaders thought that the "FULL" tag meant "I'm giving you all the files so that you can install and play the game" even if they knew they had a no-voice RIP; but the full tag is actually supposed to mean that no files have been removed from the game.
In the advent of PS2 piracy it was an extremely common practice to rip PS2 games so that they would fit in a CD, these games had fewer missions/levels, no cutscenes and no voiceovers to reduce the size of the iso

For some reason it happened a lot whenever I tried to find something from 6th generation games and tried those direct download sites.

>site is in english but comments are exclusively one language
>it's either spanish or portuguese
>FAQ section on site for people who haven't pirated before
>Foreign fuckers in the comments always ask for help in broken English instead of reading the FAQ
>Hard mode: some retard complains that he can't run the latest AAA game on his 2007 Dell laptop

Download a pirate game from a direct download site nowadays is impossible, unless it is a very small one.
Also, It never happened to me. If a game is 4gb but the provided download is just 1.2, there was obviously something wrong.

when does this ever happen
