I saw everybody going on about how the 1070's had become ridiculously expensive because of.....what was it, bitcoin mining? No idea what the fuck that is. Some kind of cryptocurrency bullshit. Fine, whatever. But why the fuck does that suddenly affect the prices and availability of graphics cards?
And if it's for the 1070, why's it happened to the 1060 as well?

Gpus are expensive to make, and they take a long time due to all the board partners extra checks and minimum requirements, that causes supply to be limited, demand goes way up because of mining ethereum and price follows suit, there are too much money chasing too few goods

Also, other cards are going up because they can be used too, just not as efficiently, Literally the only cards not be hit was the 1080 and 1080ti

this gen they are like $50-100 expensive than previous x60 cards though and thats at RRP, with the mining shit they are double the old x60 prices
