Fast attack build with alchemy and cat armor.

You literally cheese the absolute shit out of the game. Nothing is a threat to you.

Medium gear (Manticore once you get to B&W but I used Wolf/Viper otherwise or any gear with medium runewright) for the stamina trait and an alchemy build for tons or decoctions and toxicity.
Did that on my NG+ deathmarch playthrough and had an easier time than on normal.

It's been a while but I remember alchemy/manticore being OP as fuck. I just went musou on bandit bases with the spinning attack.

Why would it be cheating? It just means your Witcher gear don't end up useless once you level up too much. I guess the point is moot if you don't use the 'enemies scale' option.

I went with Cat since I prefer fast attacks and combos, and it looks pretty cool, but the final form with the DLC includes a hood which I really hate and you cant remove it or change it to unseeable in the options.

Play whatever the fuck you want because it doesn't matter. I played on Death March on my very first playthrough completely blind and had no problems.

Agreed. And for anyone else who picked it up in the Steam Sale, play it on Death March. There's really no other way to play the game that isn't piss easy.
