I just want Capcom and the MH series to strive, and having switch,PC, and PS4, I don't care where it does its best. That said, I want to to leave the generations play style as I found it to make the game much easier than what I grew up around, that could be due to many of my years going to this series or that the new changes literally weakened the core challenges that the game had.

Either way, monster hunter won my wallet years ago, I played the original with close friends, and loved every game since. I just want Capcom to succeed some they keep developing these beautiful games. And I think MHW, from what I've seen, is a step forward for the entire series.

I've been playing since ps2 and world looks so very hit or miss to me. I've been wanting them to get rid of the little "loading zones" between areas for a long ass time, but I still believed the core gameplay was good enough in this scenario. I even said instead of styles they should just expand the movesets of the existing weapons and sure enough they did that too.

That being said all the other changes start making it look like a completely different game just featuring monster hunter designs and that is a bit troubling to me. I still haven't seen enough to form a real valid opinion though and hope all of these minor gripes turn out to be forgettable when world comes out.
