For a girl who can barely speak, she sure has a strong character. Her design is great too, and her gimmick of not having weapons to equip but just strengthening her fists over time is an interesting one. Also Charm = best tech. Overall I like her a lot.

Crono and Frog were always locked in for my party, third slot was always between Ayla or whoever had useful magic for the area.

I should fire up a NG+ and try using the other characters. Especially Marle, poor girl was perma-benched as soon as I got Frog.
