Would you say Mighty Gunvolt Burst is worth the pickup?
I'm looking for a decent side scrolling game, but I'd like to hear some opinions. I haven't played anything from Inti Creates before. If anyone knows how long the game is that'd be great information as well.
Actually now that I think about it I'm trying to decide whether I want to pick up MGB or Gonner.
Its pretty good. If you like classic megaman get it

MGB is definitely worth the pickup. The weapon customization is an amazing idea for a Mega Man type game. The stages are a bit short, but the boss fights are good and they give you a bit of incentive to play through them again through challenges, different rewards to choose from, an unlockable hard mode, and the other character. It's supposed to be getting Ekoro as a third playable character, so hopefully that'll be available for free like they've been doing with the Blaster Master Zero DLC characters.

That sounds great. I don't mind shorter stages as long as there is a decent incentive to go through them again.
How different do the characters play?

Gunvolt has 4 powers he can use on a cooldown while beck doesnt

The differences are mostly in their customization options.
Beck can change his shot types and each shot type has some differences in the customization options it can use. He can also equip the ability to air dash.
Gunvolt can only use a single shot type but he gains access to some of his special attacks from his games such as Astrasphere and Luxcalibur. He can equip double jump instead of being able to air dash.

That's great, thanks.
Have either of you two tried out Gonner?

I have played Gonner. It's kinda dull desu. An I like roguelites.

That's disappointing, it seemed really neat and I liked the artstyle.
I'm thinking MGB is the clear purchase here.

Here's a tip for MGB:
You can equip custom slots as a charge shot at a fraction of the cost.

Thanks, anon.

Yes, it's easily the best MegaMan game in years. It's what MN9 should've been, ironically.
