I wonder if this means that Takaki will reboot the story in order to somehow include New Hebijo and Gessen into more serious plotlines.

This might have changed for Switch but WiiU was a dark time to be a Nintendofag when Ninty commited every single sin against gaming possible and don't try to deny it.

Since the teaser for the next game shows a 7, maybe the two timelines converge and they put Gessen and New Hebijo in the yoma plotline instead of fucking around forever like the Versus universe does.

But saying the story of the main universe is complete is bullshit, it was clearly axed due to low sales.

Also, they hopefully stop making different games for different systems and just go PS4/Switch from 7 on.

But they published niche projects that nobody else would dare touch such as Bayonetta 2, Devil's Third and funded a 1st party exclusive by PG in TW101, a team known for having games that sell horribly.

Sure some of their games have crappy localization and some censorship but the worst part of Wii U wasn't that, it was the madness that was the droughts between releases.

That's seemingly being rectified at least with Year 1 on Switch on top of it being region-free.
