What are some unique hidden gems that people don't talk about very often?

>tfw can never play this online again
Fuck you microsoft.
>>383466565
Heard this was good, never got a chance to check it out. seems like PS2 had a really good mech game library.
>>383465592
I loved this, it had some really original levels and gimmicks. One level is a giant HALO esque circle, one is a really small looping plain with elementals you have to talk to with a pretty starry sky, it's just neat.

>>383466565
I'd also add Pengel and Graffiti Kingdom.
>>383466565
That title sounds like the after effects of some hardcore spicy food.
Impossible to use but pretty fun to fuck around with for a bit.
>>383466671
>Gungriffon Blaze
All the talk about it on /v/'s made it come full circle and it's a generally well liked game here. Same goes for Vanguard Bandits
>>383466912
Really mad because I managed to pick up Chulip, Gungriffon, RAD, Siren, and Daisenryaku 7 for maybe 2 bucks each at a Gamestop, but none of them had cases.
>>383464645
>no RAD sequel or remake ever
Come on Sandlot fucking do it
>>383467014
Chu Lip is weird enough to warrant a playthrough but jesus is it arcane. I'd rather watch an LP or use a walkthrough, lots of things you don't think will game over you will.
>>383467320
My friend had a boxed copy, and it actually comes with a walkthrough.
Dwarf Fortress of JRPGs.
>>383464645
>Vanguard Bandits ( because you american tossers couldn't see past final fantasy. very awesome.)
>Archaic Sealed Heat (better than it had business being.)
>Kagero: Deception 2 (Because I got fucked massively out of ever playing deception 3 thanks to tecmo's dickery.)
>Seong's Sword (Pulling an Aerith before Aerith existed, and done better. Fuck FF7.)
>Echochrome (fucking love brainy shit like this.)
>Intelligent Qube (You're a right twat if you suck at this game.)
>Langrisser III (because fuck L-II for that midgame bullshit.)
>Blast chamber: (always a good laugh. I prefer it over Mario Party.)
>Captain Rainbow. (The tits for nostalgia trippers.)
>>383470124
>Sepng's Sword
This isn't a real game stupid thirdworlder.
somebody in this thread tellme whats good/appealing/fun about Vanguard Bandits.
>>383470124
I'll give you blast chamber and maybe IQ, but Captain Rainbow is not a rare undiscussed gem, it just didn't hit western regions.
Also, I'm not even mad at the limited amount of Korean game gems, but don't be a dick and call out Final Fantasy because FF7 smashed the shit out of an entire generation by releasing multi-regionally with FMV's at a time when most couldn't be bothered with making that sort of unprecedented effort.
Quite fun take on Mad Max post-apocalypse sprinkled with ancient Greek drama style.
It had a significant popularity when it came out, but nowadays it's completely forgotten, which is a shame because the game is amazing.
The most innovative take on RTS genre from the mad bastards that gave us Vangers.
>>383471097
Western publishers did all they could to remove the Greek drama components, they feared it was too intellectual for the target audience. Even the original name Ex Machina was changed for more hardcore-sounding.

>That German
kek
>>383464645
>that mission were you're going through a flash back and everything has a yellowish tint
>the world feels emptier than usual but I keep going along with the mission
>suddenly the music gets quiet and a voice says something I can't quite remember
Fuck that shit scared me the first time but still a great game. Switch remake with joycons controlling each arm when?
We need more police force games.
I don't know how hidden it is, but no one really talks about it
>>383464645
RAD is fucking awesome
I want to name Sword of Etheria and Trapt
>>383464645
>see this game at the store but know nothing about it
>looks awesome
>probably isn't that great though
>one day I have the money to buy a game
>go for this one
>it's better than I could have ever imagined
This game blew my socks off as a kid.
>>383472823
>punch enemy with a really strong punch and they go flying
>see them crash through 3 buildings that shatter like glass on contact
>mfw
RAD really just does it for me when I want have the experience of controlling a giant robot
>>383467229
>published and owned by Enix
>they've merged with Square
>Square actively blocks anything Enix
You ever wonder why Valkyrie Profile still isn't available for digital sale?
>>383473307
>Square Enix being the reason why I can't have fun
Honestly I shouldn't even be surprised at this point.
