What do we have here? Another scrumptious little plaything straight out of life and into my club?
>>383463924
Haven't played it yet. In my back log, after I 100% DaS, & Shadow warrior I'll get on it.
>>383463924
who is hotter? her or the uptight Therese
>>383464135
Jeanette obviously
Why do you all love this game so much? Genuinely asking. I know nothing about it
>>383464135
Susan
>>383464135
that's not all that's tight
>>383464201
because it has amazing atmosphere and its well written really good fleshed out characters the combat can be iffy, and the last part is shit but if you can live with that its a really fun ride being a vampire
>>383464254
nice one
>>383464201
It's got one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a game, really well fitting, it's got above average writing quality, the NPCs are highly memorable and the dialogue is done great too (wish there was more Clan-based dialogue, like for Malkavian and Nosferatu).
Yeah, it's got its flaws, its bugs and glitches, combat's not all that great (sewers) but shit can be easily looked over in favor of everything else.
>>383464201
Really good atmosphere, unique premise, memorable scenarios and locations, and a sleaziness no game even comes close to matching. The combat is among the worst ever and it completely falls apart as a choice driven RPG but damn are there some good ideas there.
>>383464254
do you think the pussy gets tighter with therese
>tfw no new VtM game
Probably for the best.
>>383463924
>writing, voice acting, music, and atmosphere are all top notch
>actual gameplay is complete ass
Why is this allowed?
>>383465545
Activision.
>>383464618
Sewers was a cakewalk in comparison to the sabbat house and that chinese palace, goddamnit that the combat sucks in this game
>>383465342
Especially since WW is busy forgetting and burying everything about oWoD :(
>>383467793
What?
>>383465545
>complete ass
how about you get good instead of relying on feeds or reading what disciplines do?
>>383463924
why do your boobs violently shake every time I press the space bar???
>>383464912
>it completely falls apart as a choice driven RPG
No it doesn't, at any point in the game except the final 3 raid missions. Even then you can choose who to fight and what raids to skip, but the missions themselves offer you no choices within, so criticism is justifiable.
>>383469810
>this game sucks
>"nuh-uh, you're just bad at it"
Who would be a good fit for developing a new Vampire: The Masquerade/Dark Ages game?
>>383464618
I love the menu music so much
>>383467793
Have you been living under a rock? They are arguably paying more attention to oWoD than ever. 4th edition VtM has been announced, not to mention stuff like Beckett's Jyhad Diary, that new card game and resurrection of VTES card game

Is playing as a nosferatu fun
>>383472425
no
but playing as malkavian is more than fun
>>383472425
It's been ages but I remember it being pretty fun, though your interactions with NPCs are often somewhat limited.
I was also disappointed the game didn't force you to stay in the sewers most of the time due to how you look but I understand that the game was already unfinished as it is, and it would've require basically rewriting the plot/gameplay
>>383472614
Sure but I strongly advise not playing as Malkavian or Nosferatu to newcomers
First time playing, took Brujah cause druid vampire sounds awesome. But can I still have a speech build?
>>383472701
>took Brujah cause druid vampire sounds awesome
>Bruajh
>druid
anon, I...
>>383472840
Yea yea typoed, should've been Gangrel
People really exaggerate how bad the combat is. It's not good or anything, but it is passable.
Did any of you start to listen to the bands that were in VtMB? I discovered I really liked Tiamat and Chiasm.
>>383473508
Chiasm is GOAT tbqh.
>feel like replaying
>remember hallowbrook hotel and ming's palace & dungeon
nope
maybe around next halloween when the mood hits
>>383473508
Lacuna Coil and Genitorturers for me
>>383463924
Daily reminder to read the book, which is the canonical sequel to VtM:B. Not high literature by any means, but at least on par with the in-game writing. "Gehenna: The Final Night" - you can get it on LibGen, along with other WoD books.
>>383463924
In my headcanon Velvet is third Voerman. She's like Therese and Jannette mixed together. Like less sluty but also more business savy and stable. Face checks out, eye color checks out. She wears the same choker that Jannette wears, etc. Only think that ruins it is that you can see Velvet together with Therese in the prologue.
>>383474247
You know the painting in the office at the Asylum with two girls?Therese/Jeanette is one, VV is the other.
>>383474376
So you're saying Velvet is the real sibling of the imaginary twins?
>>383474376
Both blondes though.
>>383474247
>Toreador stripper
>Being less slutty than anyone
>>383463924
>you will never be embraced by Jeanette
Why does life have to be such bullshit?
What's easy mode vampire life? embraced by Ventrue?
>>383474729
Toreador musician.
>>383474703
>wanting to be literally insane and hear voices for the rest of your undead life just for a chance to score some sleazy barfly's cooch
>>383474729
>Ventrue
>easy
good luck spending at least 5 years of forced tutoring under your sire memorising pointless lineage and then trying to prove yourself to the sire by succeeding with your own business.
Not to mention the fact that all of Ventrue live by dignitas which is an internal code of prestige that forces you to help fellow Ventrue or be eternally shit on
>>383474729
You pretty much already have to be a rich banker/lawyer/politician for a ventrue to even consider siring you.
>>383474729
Brujah. It's not posh, but it's the one that gives you the most freedom to play by your own rules.
>>383474778
Have fun being shit on by every single Toreador because they're all catty bitches and each of them thinks their form of art is better than what you're doing. Also majority of other clans either hate you or don't take you seriously.
Also have fun gradually losing your ability to be creative and spiraling into suicidal depression as nothing you make will ever top what you did while you were alive
>>383474790
>implying I am not already crazy and thirsting for forbidden knowledge that would drive me mad
>>383474995
This anon gets it. Or Gangrel since nobody will want to fuck with you that much unless you're dumb enough to fall for Jyhad.
Nossies are also easy mode if you don't mind being fugly. Their elders don't shit on them that much (they have bigger problems) and if you play your cards right, you can become a great info broker/blackmailer
I started playing this and it's really good. Is there a way to keep both Janette and Therese alive ?
>>383474247
>>383474376
>>383474517
In my headcanon, both Therese and Jeannette actually existed, but one of them died, possibly at the same time as as their father. Maybe what Jeanette said was partially true and Therese shot their father, but she also shot Jeanette and when she was finally embraced, Jeanette's personality emerged from this.
>>383475393
Maybe Therese fed on Jeanette or vice versa and absorbed her personality.
>>383475375
YeGet your Persuasion as high as possible and never flatter/please either of them at the expense of the other, stay neutral
>>383471104
Bethesda.
I couldn't stand VV's stupid emails
>>383473508
>People really exaggerate how bad the combat is. It's not good or anything, but it is passable.
This. And celerity makes the combat kind of fun sometimes. Fuck the graveyard quest though.
>>383463924
Anyone play Vtmr?
Easily my favorite, greatest love story ever told and amazing soundtrack with top notch art direction
Friendly reminder that the unused tracks are all amazing.

>>383475795
Yea, redemption is fantastic as well. It suffers from being a really old game tho, so unless you're old like me of have the kind of disposition that let's you look past that kinda thing (or just straight up enjoy it) it might be hard to play.
But yea, top tier vampire game that I think on the whole is better than bloodlines, despite how fantastic bloodlines is.
>>383475795
I prefer Redemption over Bloodlines, but only because of the transition from Dark Ages to Modern Nights.
