Daily reminder that piracy = communism. By pirating vidya, you are rewarding yourself without compensating the devs for their work and depriving the company of profits

We have these threads hourly.

>in some countries $50 games can cost as much 10 working days salary
>vidya companies use outright rogue tactics against their fanbase so people pirate to stop supporting them
>some people pirate to try a game out and then buy it (remember steam forbids buy-to-try and not every game has a demo to try out)

Adding "piracy" and "piratefag" to the filter list.

Screw you.

>>383462925
Pirating is pure capitalism, though. You as a consumer are simply getting the product at the best price for YOU.

To say the publisher/devs "deserve" our hard earned money for their game sounds like a commie hand out. Are you trying to convert these good anons, you filthy pinko fuck?

>"Don't mind me, just pirating this fish and bread. What? It's stealing? No no no no! I merely copied and distributed it! No harm done!"
Was Jesus a communist?
>>
>>383463729
Free isn't a price, kys commie
>>
>>383463832
legitimately yes, and in fact most of the early christian church was literally communist
jesus and the apostles effectively established the first communist community, which unsurprisingly was put down by the fascist imperialists of the time (rome)

>>383463878
>publisher slave begging for consumer money
>not offering a better product/service than the one available through piracy
You wouldn't know Capitalism if it bit your breadline loving, commie ass. In AMERICA, my country, we pirated the very land from the indians, and then from the british. And we were proud of it.
>>
Nah I'm just stingy.
>>
>>383462925
But I'm compensating them with my time. Time is money.

Exactly, free is a right, there is no price for freedom. Who you calling commie, commie? Thanks for beta-testing my games.

Steam has said the refund system is not a try-and-buy system. You can use it as such, but you have no agreed right to do so. Thus, they are not obligated to continue allowing you to refund easily if you continue to cycle through a whole bunch of games and then return them, even within the 2 hour limit.

That's not how capitalism works you jack ass. It's literally the opposite of Capitalism. If either party when trading currency/goods/services doesn't consent, it's not Capitalism.
