If I go even a slight bit out in the open (not the big cities or military compounds) I survive 60 dudes just by the time I've looted all the stuff without even seeing any other players. If I jump into the big cities there's so much action right from the get go, I usually do this nowadays as it's also the best way to get stuff, instead of farming houses, just farm other players with full bags of loot
