I play on PC using K&M and sometimes use my xbone controller. I've never felt like I've had a disadvantage using controllers.

Doom is alright on a console but it is definetly best on PC. If you are dying to play Doom then get it on a console but just keep in mind that it will be best on PC because on PC it has better graphics, bigger fps, and KM @ M.

because the keyboards were made since they needed to use the consoles controller input slot.
modern consoles have USB ports so it would be hard to get away with proprietary keyboards lot of people shit on sony for this with the ps2
