If your survival game is comfy then it fails as a survival game and if your comfy game is actually threatening then it's not comfy.

Unreal World. Somewhat clunky and ugly, but it has been in development for ages, is ultra detailed and has almost all features one could think of in a survival game that takes place in nordic ancient era.
