Roleplay requires fundamental game mechanics you clod.
Even in group therapy or such shit you need to give a goal to each person or they're just going to meme and shitpost.

Being immediately self-sufficient and there being zero interaction with the world will do that do you. Even having easy access to guns will incite aggressive actions to stop the boredom.

Last time I tried to run it on my PC it constantly got memory leaks which prevented me from consistently playing it. After some research I realized that it was a problem on the game's side and not my build, I just refunded it after that.

Ah, yeah I was having that issue as well on release week. Apparently they patched it but I haven't played in a while. That gta v to community is pretty intense though, you have to sign up, go through some app process and basically live a life in gta. It was a little too intense for me, but I'm also new to rp so I think it was too much. I'd try to see if the memory leaks thing is fixed for you and refund if it's still not. That community sounds like it may be right up your alley.

You're looking in the wrong place, OP.First off, darkrp isn't really actual, 'legitimate' roleplay. They're money farms where dumb kids with access to credit cards go on power trips.
It's a containment gamemode like TTT.
However, go onto the more niche RP modes and you'll see the full wave of egotistic source developers, dramawhores, and sociopaths that permeate 'real' online roleplaying.
Roleplay on gmod just isn't good in general, and never was to begin with. The difference between and then and now is more kids than usual.
