Philips SHP9500S + Vmoda boompro.
Bought a pair of these barely used for 40$, feel amazing, sound amazing, great mic, but buying one of these used isn't worth it if you don't have the money. Before these I used SteelSeries Siberia 150, which sound nice, but build quality is terrible. Go with a cheap 50$ headset from logitech, or buy used

oh fuck i've only known those as modmics from the complexity ads
is there another name that I would search to find cheaper versions? Also are these even worth it over a standing mic?Double also how the fuck would I attach that onto my headphones

The SHP9500 have a detachable cable, just a 3.5 mm jack. You can use the vmoda on any headphone like that.
The modmics use adhesive and magnets to adhere to the side of your headphones, but I don't think they sound so great and cost even more than the boompro. There are chinese knockoffs of the boompro but I've read that they are not that great.
