ARMS seems to be following the Splatoon path of "support the game for awhile after launch", so I don't think a sequel will be coming soon. Count on balance patches and such, of course.

You may want to wait on Splatoon 2 to drop, grab that and pick up ARMS later. ARMS looks fun but is light on content, so waiting just a bit for more stuff to get added could be a good move.

I'm enjoying it. Considering it was a mobile game before in thought it would control shit but I read a review of the switch version that says it controls great so I took the plunge. Thought I'd only play it for 15 minutes ended up playing it for 3 hours. Lots if content and none if it is paid for trying to s and badge each level is challenging I end up replaying the levels to do it for the completion and for fun.
