That's 2 playthroughs plus some fucking around in early access.

The single most important thing is just knowing when to stall out fights. Fights that can be made 2-3 turns longer than required just to get stress/HP healed is critical. Rushing just loses you to bad luck.

Leave the most shitty enemy alive and heal for 1~2 turns. Also yes, generally a healer should always be advised unless a party has self-healing or built for a specific gimmick, like dodge-tanking.

Buy shit tons of food and torches, bring sandnigger to heal. My composition was the leper, hellion, bounty hunter and sandnigger. you can trade bounty for gravedigger or jester so they can swap around with hellion and use their charge/move back moves.

Healer is usually a must, bring 1-2 frontline tanky boys and mid/rear slots for ranged.
Use stuns and debuffs wisely, and having too many supplies is better than too little.

Great, has enough single player content, ranked matches dont take long to get into and there are usually at least 5 active lobbies (each can fit up to 8 players).

For me it was worth it just for Baiken though.

Also you have a room where you can play and edit collectible figures of the characters, which is cool.

It seems easier than blazblue because you can queue combos to some extent and the hit connection for me feels more precise and "heavy". But I mostly like it for the characters, I'm a noobie and I can't talk about deeper mechanics.
