I hated it when Reaper of Souls added the I-win-button skills with high cooldown that were so good that you were gimping yourself if you didn't use them. It was so fucking obvious they were there for console players to compensate for the inherent low apm and give them a way to bail out of bad situations via brute force rather than clever movement and proper aiming.
Of course the game hadn't been released on consoles then, but they did it a few months later.

Blizz has been putting out free content for D3 every few months since launch. The only things they've charged for is the base game and RoS.
At the same time the Necro came out, they released a patch with new areas and game modes available to everyone for free.

The $20 price tag is fine because they don't charge for anything else. It's just the game and now the Necro. Everything else is free.

How is Diablo 3 on console?

I had back surgery and it hurts to sit at a PC, not to mention I do sit at a PC all day at work. I really want to play it.

It's alright. I prefer PC infinitely more but I leveled a character to cap in RoS on console while a friend was crashing on my couch and it was fun. Not nearly as clumsy as you might thing it would be. But then again I didn't play much that required tight aiming skills.
